DJ Coolaid was born in Allende Coahuila, Mexico on November 20th 1975. That’s a little town just about an hour away from the border by Eagle Pass, TX. Coolaid has been Pimpin Turntables and rockin parties for the last 18 years. He's has also built his own company (Fleyva Entertainment) which includes DJing for private parties, Quincaneras, Weddings ETC, ETC, ETC. Coolaid has also been on the radio airwaves of Houston for the last 7 years and refers to it as being one of his biggest accomplishments of his life. He was first with 100.7 House Party which later became Houston Hip Hop Station Party 104.9 and is now Party 93.3. Coolaid has been reppin for the streets and building his credentials with the streets since he first started DJing. His enormous sounds that he pushes through the clubs and airwaves has clarified him as being one of the top DJ’s in Houston and around the nation. Anatha big accomplishment of his, is teaming up with Houston own DJ Ovadose. The two met at a carshow that Coolaid was djing for and shortly after that they became real good friends. The two have since then become a strong powerhouse and building what is now a well respected crew by the name of the CHOPPAHOLIX. The Choppaholix consist of 2 DJ”S and 1 Crew. DJ Coolaid, DJ Ovadose, Grade A Da Hustla, and GT Garza. You can hear Grade A and GT Garza on many of the mixtapes that the Choppaholix have under their belts. Coolaid along with Ovadose have a very unique sound that most of your DJ’S often imitate but never duplicate. That is the sound of the late great DJ SCREW (R.I.P.)
